This fall, we will invite each of the 136 people sentenced to death in our state to select food items for a holiday package through a prison-approved vendor. This package may be the only holiday gift some folks receive. And the package represents more than just the contents inside the box. It’s a small reminder for the men and women living on NC’s death row that they have not been forgotten during the holiday season.
