DESCRIPTION:Please join NCCADP and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice (SCSJ) at Perfect Lovers Coffee in Durham\, NC on March 25th from 6-8pm! Enjoy free coffee and pastries while we provide more information and context about Governor Cooper’s clemency power in North Carolina and why we are calling on him to use it to commute all NC death sentences before his term ends. There will be a clemency panel providing death row exoneree perspective on this very urgent issue\, and we will have postcards on hand (with postage provided) for you to write\, decorate\, and send to Governor Cooper explaining exactly why YOU feel he must use his commutation power to clear the row. We look forward to a compelling evening full of first-hand death penalty experience and direct community action!
