SUMMARY:Racist Roots Film Screening and Panel Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Join us to watch “Racist Roots\,” a powerful 30-minute film that demonstrates the deep entanglement with white supremacy and racial terror lynching to today’s death penalty in North Carolina. Cooper to commute the sentences of people on North Carolina’s death row. Hosts for this event\, which is free and open to the community\, include: Eno Friends Meeting\, Orange Cooperative Parish\, Mt. Bright Missionary Baptist & St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.  Racist Roots is a project of the Center for Death Penalty Litigation.
