Catch us at the Wild Goose Festival this weekend! Catch us at the Wild Goose Festival this weekend! NCCADP's executive director, Noel Nickle, will join @scadeathpenalty's executive director, Rev. Hillary Taylor, to lead "Who Would Jesus Execute? The State of the Death Penalty in the US in 2025," a talk at the UMC venue.

In 2024, there were more than twice as many death row commutations in the United States (52) as there were executions (25). However, the death penalty persists as a form of punishment, particularly in the Bible Belt. In this conversation, learn about the current state of the death penalty: who supports it, where it's being used, why its abolition matters, and what you can do to help abolish it. Come prepared to learn about the theology behind the death penalty, it's cost, how it impacts victims, and what alternatives exist.

All eyes are on Greenville. Today at the Pitt Coun All eyes are on Greenville. Today at the Pitt County Courthouse, we stand shoulder to shoulder to demand justice in the case of James Richardson. For too long, this community has carried the weight of unanswered questions and injustice. It’s time – time to free James Richardson, time to bring truth to the families of the victims, and time for real justice to prevail.
