This week we had our last team meeting with Sofi, This week we had our last team meeting with Sofi, our wonderful summer intern.

It's hard to believe how much we fit into a few short months. Sofi jumped into organizing, event planning, communications, and just about everything else that comes with working at a small nonprofit. She brought boundless energy and a can-do attitude that was infectious!

Thank you for spending your summer with NCCADP, Sofi. We can't wait to see what's next for you!

If you haven't already, we'd love for you to read the blog post Sofi wrote for NCCADP in July, which you can find at the link in our bio.

On Monday, August 10, join us at St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain for a screening of Racist Roots, followed by a discussion with Noel Nickle, Robert Udashen, and Alfred Rivera, who was exonerated after spending years on North Carolina's death row.
