Four times a year we gather with our organizational partners and people across the state to strengthen our work and deepen our relationships to end the death penalty in North Carolina. This quarterly meeting was to have been in August, but we were so busy we decided to delay until this month. With our Walk for Commutation fast approaching on Sept 26th, that will be our primary focus for this meeting. We’ll talk about other Commutation Campaign updates as well. If you’re new to our movement, we encourage you to attend an info session in advance, but all are welcome to our statewide meetings!

On Monday, August 10, join us at St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain for a screening of Racist Roots, followed by a discussion with Noel Nickle, Robert Udashen, and Alfred Rivera, who was exonerated after spending years on North Carolina's death row.
