On August 18, North Carolina will reach 20 years w On August 18, North Carolina will reach 20 years without an execution. That evening, we’ll honor this historic anniversary with an interfaith service, candlelight procession, and vigil in Raleigh. We really hope you'll join us.

The service at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church will include Rev. Chalice Overy, Rabbi Sandra Lawson, Rev. Esther Hethcox, members of NCCADP’s Survivor Family Engagement Group, and other faith and community leaders.

Afterward, we’ll walk by candlelight to Central Prison for a vigil featuring NCCADP Executive Director Noel Nickle, impacted community members, and spoken word artist Nick Courmon.

People of all faiths and those with no faith tradition are welcome. Will you join us?
